Only in low-risk situations where workers stay 2m from the edge and the roof is under 10°. Not a substitute for edge protection on high-risk sites.
How is the bracket fixed to the roof - does it penetrate the membrane or iron?
Loosen the existing roof screws and slide the Edge Flag Brackets into place before retightening.
Can Edge Flag be installed on any roofing profile (e.g.trapezoidal, corrugated, membrane)?
Yes - suitable for most metal profiles (corrugated, trapezoidal). Not recommended for membrane roofs without special fixings.

No - just a impact driver

Yes - installation is simple and safe under supervision.
What is the maximum spacing before the flag line begins to sag?
5m max spacing. 3m is ideal for tight flag tension.

Performs well in strong winds. Flexible poles absorb gusts. Check tension regularly.
Is it safe to leave the system installed for multiple weeks or months?
Yes - made to remain in place for weeks during ongoing roof work.
How far back from the roof edge must Edge Flag be installed to remain compliant?
2 metres back from the roof edge, per WorkSafe guidelines.
Does Edge Flag replace the need for a fall arrest system or harness?
No - Edge Flag does not replace a fall arrest system or harness. It’s a visual warning system only, used to mark safe zones on low-risk roofs. Fall arrest gear is still required if workers are within 2 metres of the edge or working at height in high-risk situations.
